ok, no surprise that booties are the most mentioned in hip-hop, and hands in gospel, but i’m a little surprised to see absolutely no mention of some “sexy ass eyelids” across the genres.

i just spent way too much time laying down some serious phat beats on incredibox. it’s pretty fool-proof: just drag and drop a sound icon onto one of the guy’s shirt and layer the beats until you’ve got what could easily pass for song.

how could something that comes out of france be so coooooool?

musical birds

jarbas angelli saw a newspaper photo of birds on 5 tiers of wires and set it to music using the birds as notes. the result is surprisingly beautiful and melodic proving that the birds are composers and didn’t knowsers!

pandora is great for discovering new music by artist or song, but if you want to discover music by city, there’s citysounds.fm, where you can browse the music scene of over 30 major cities.

citysound

citysounds.fm was developed by swedish music geekazoids Henrik Berggren and David Kjelkerud during london’s Music Hack Day. by using the audio platform from soundcloud.com they’re able to stream a constantly updated supply of city-specific music giving users an auditory travel visa to cities like belgrade, helsinki, london, even nashville.

fortunately there’s never a cover charge, so if you don’t like what’s playing in one city, you can hop on your mouse over to one in another hemisphere.
